New Chapter: Joining Verb Ventures as Venture Partner
Expanding Horizons in Venture Capital: Continuing the Mission
Welcome to 22nd Century Frontier — your strategic edge in innovation, investment, and entrepreneurship. 🚀
I started an additional role as Venture Partner at Verb Ventures, a London-based Venture Capital firm building an international portfolio of high-potential early-stage companies.
The firm focuses on late-seed and Series A investments, specialising in B2B and B2B2C marketplaces and platform solutions, and partners with visionary founders to scale global businesses.
I’m honored to join the Verb team to expand the firm’s ecosystem, forge stronger connections, and deliver strategic support to founders building global businesses.
Think of this as an expansion, not a redirection. I remain fully dedicated to EuphoriaTech Group — our venture studio, advisory practice, and media arm — and to the companies in our portfolio. My role at Verb simply broadens the channels through which I can add strategic value: deal sourcing, network scaling, go-to-market acceleration, and converting product strategy into enduring business outcomes.
Beyond dealflow and introductions, what drew me to Verb — and what I want to bring to every founder I work with — is a shared emphasis on values. In a crowded market of shiny metrics and short cycles, principles matter. They guide hard decisions, align teams, and ultimately determine who builds something that lasts.
Below are the seven core beliefs I’m bringing to Verb Ventures and my ongoing work with entrepreneurs, investors, corporate partners, and policy teams.
Core Beliefs Behind My Approach to Venture Capital
1. On Mission
Venture capital isn’t just capital — it’s conviction.
I’m driven by a personal mission to support founders who are not just building companies, but shaping the future. For me, venture capital is a way to back ideas that are bold, purposeful, and built to last.
2. On Vision
Think in decades, not quarters.
The best investors think in decades, not quarters. We’re here for long-term, sustainable progress and we choose to work with people who act like builders, not just dealmakers.
3. On Innovation
Innovation begins where comfort ends.
It’s not just about tech; it’s about challenging assumptions and creating what others won’t. The best ideas don’t always sound obvious at first.
4. On Values
Clarity builds trust; trust drives outcomes.
Brutal honesty — delivered with respect — is non-negotiable. Clear feedback, transparent incentives, and aligned expectations prevent costly misunderstandings later. I operate with candidness because founders and investors deserve direct, actionable counsel.
5. On Founders
Curiosity + Grit + Coachability = Investability.
The best founders are insatiably curious, relentlessly resourceful, and open to critical input. Their ideas matter — but their ability to learn, pivot, and execute matters more. I look for leaders who combine vision with humility.
6. On Commitment
Commitment is the great equalizer.
Building a startup is never easy. It’s about having the unrelenting passion to keep plowing on—because it always gets tough, no matter how good the business is. Whatever you choose to do, be committed—be all in.
7. On Simplicity
Simplicity is a power move.
In an information-saturated world, the clearest propositions cut through. Clear products, clear metrics, and clear stories are easier to scale, measure, and defend. Complexity is interesting; clarity wins.
Thank you to the Verb Ventures team for the warm welcome, and to the founders, investors, and partners who have been part of this journey so far.
